Cellars generally refer to the cool humid places that are not affected by the fluctuations of the wild temperature occurring above the ground. Most of the people prefer using the cellar in its unique condition. This is suitable for the short term storage and for storing comparatively cheaper wines but for storage of costlier wines and long term storage, it is essential to remove the natural daylight and achieving control over the humidity and temperature. It is easy to eliminate the natural daylight by putting shutters and blocking up the window if present. So, we need the cellar conversion for storing the wine.
Some small cellars occupy the whole cellar space. They have the totally controlled environment due to the airtight doors. These airtight doors are made up of adorned steel provided with thick layers of insulation designed specially for storage purposes. Some of the models come already build with the air conditioning and heating unit which is best to achieve the totally controlled environment. In other, separate air conditioning and ventilating and heating unit is required to be installed. These units can control the temperature up to 3 degree Celsius. This temperature is suitable for storing the good quality and expensive wines.
